

2023 Fall Fun Fair and Silent Auction

Wickham Elementary PTO presents the 2023 Fall Fun Fair! On Friday, September 29th from 5:30-7:30 PM join in the celebration of a new school year!
A wristband is required for entry and all students must be accompanied by an adult.
Admission(day of): $17/person or $50/family.
Your wristband will include food and beverages, face painting, balloon animals, a cupcake walk, and inflatables. The Wickham silent auction will also take place!

The Wizard Donation Drive
It's time for the 2023-2024 Wickham Donation Drive! The Wickham Donation Drive is our primary fundraiser for the school year. We ask each family to make a cash donation and this allows us to avoid sales-based fundraisers such as wrapping paper, candy or fruit. Please make your donation by September 29 so that we can fully fund the activities and equipment that the school depends on.
Donations to PTO are tax deductible.

The Annual Wizard Donation Drive, is the main source of revenue for the PTO. This fundraiser is chosen in lieu of any sales-type fundraisers.
The suggested amount per family is $75 for the first student, and $25 for each additional student. Although this is the suggested amount, any donation is greatly appreciated.
These donations fund:
Software subscriptions
Books Supplies for classrooms including art, P.E., music, and counseling
Playground equipment
School of the Wild Tuition for this year's 5th grade class
Staff appreciation events
Educational technology
Clubs and Field trips
Wickham Families may contribute via check (made payable to Wickham PTO and mailed to the Wickham office) or online through our website: www.wickhampto.org

PLEASE NOTE: The textbook and planner fees are paid separately to the School District and are NOT contributions to any PTO fundraising.

Volunteer Needed for Teacher Appreciation Meals/Events
We are looking for a parent volunteer to coordinate Teacher Appreciation meals and events throughout the 2023-2024 school year. PTO will provide funds and information about past events/meals. The volunteer will help coordinate parent sign-up sheets for potluck lunches, act as a liaison between Mrs. Daubs and the PTO executive board for planning, and reserve/secure a food truck for teacher appreciation week in May. Reserve The Celebration Herky

Wickham Elementary has a large Herky dressed up like a wizard prominently displayed near the entry of our school. In years past we offered families the option to rent Herky for a day to display a message of celebration (birthday, half birthday, sporting event, holiday, etc.) for your student. We ask for a $10 donation for each day that you reserve to serve as a fundraiser for PTO.
We are excited to bring back this fun tradition with a few procedure changes that ensure we are following Iowa City Community Schools COVID policy.

Wickham PTO will earn $1 for every $200 spent at Hy-Vee.
Start saving your Hy-Vee receipts to earn money for Wickham! We will be collecting these receipts all year. Please send receipts in with your child and/or drop them off in the collection box in the entrance of school
