End of Year Picnic - TOMORROW - Wednesday, May 31 - 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.


PTO is hosting an end of year picnic on Wednesday, May 31 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Families are encouraged to bring their own picnic dinner or order from one of the food trucks at the event. Kona Ice, Marco's Grilled Cheese and Da Flava Unit will be there. We will have a teacher dunk tank and field games. 

Dunk Tank Tickets
See the dunk tank schedule in the image above. This is going to be epic and we know it will be a very popular attraction. Families may purchase dunk tank tickets/throws
 before 8 p.m. on Tuesday, May 30. For $15 you will receive 6 tickets (each ticket is good for 1 throw). Your 6 tickets/throws may be used throughout the event and split up between siblings if applicable. We are limiting purchases to 1 set of 6 tickets/throws per family as we want to allow as many kids as possible to participate in the dunk tank. We anticipate a long line and want to give everyone a chance to get their throws in throughout the 2 hour event.

At the event we will sell cash only tickets $5 for two tickets/throws as time allows. The dunk tank will be located on the back side of the school and pre-purchased tickets may be picked up at the event.

The Wizard Donation Drive 

**We are just $3,600 away from reaching our 2022-2023 donation drive goal. Donations to PTO are tax deductible. Make your payment before December 31!**

The Annual Wizard Donation Drive, is the main source of revenue for the PTO. This fundraiser is chosen in lieu of any sales-type fundraisers.

The suggested amount per family is $75 for the first student, and $25 for each additional student. Although this is the suggested amount, any donation is greatly appreciated.

These donations fund:

Software subscriptions

Books Supplies for classrooms including art, P.E., music, and counseling

Playground equipment

Staff appreciation events

Educational technology

Clubs and field trips

 

Wickham Families may contribute via check (made payable to Wickham PTO and mailed to the Wickham office) or online through our website: www.wickhampto.org

 

PLEASE NOTE: The textbook and planner fees are paid separately to the School District and are NOT contributions to any PTO fundraising.

No more clipping boxes and sending them to school (although if you have some left, please send them in).

Download the Box Top App to your phone.
Scan all your receipts (within 14 days of sale) and if you purchased an eligible item, money is automatically put in Wickham's account.
So easy and can work on online receipts (i.e. Hy-Vee Online) too.

Reserve The Celebration Herky

Wickham Elementary has a large Herky dressed up like a wizard prominently displayed near the entry of our school. In years past we offered families the option to rent Herky for a day to display a message of celebration (birthday, half birthday, sporting event, holiday, etc.) for your student. We ask for a $10 donation for each day that you reserve to serve as a fundraiser for PTO.

We are excited to bring back this fun tradition with a few procedure changes that ensure we are following Iowa City Community Schools COVID policy.
