KATE WICKHAM ELEMENTARY

 The Wickham PTO is excited to announce that the silent auction will be held on Friday, September 13, during the Fall Fun Fair, from 5:30pm-7:30pm. 

 

How can YOU help with this event?

 

(1)  Grade Baskets

The last couple years, each grade brought in items to make themed “Grade baskets.”  These baskets were very popular.

 

This year, we are requesting that each child bring one new item to school to contribute to his/her grade’s baskets (see themes below).  If you have an item that you would like to contribute that is NOT your child’s grade themed basket, we would still greatly appreciate the donation and will add this item to another basket.  If your family would rather help by sending a monetary donation to help purchase larger items for the grade’s basket, that would also be greatly appreciated.  Please turn in all new items and/or donations (in an envelope labeled “silent auction,” and checks made out to Wickham PTO) to your child’s teacher NO LATER THAN FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 7.

 

Kindergarten:  Hot Wheels, Crayola, and Play-Doh.

 

First Grade: Lego City, Lego Friends and Barbie.

 

Second Grade:  Handheld Games/Travel Games, Nerf and Science Toys. 

 

Third Grade: Star Wars Legos, Squishies and Arts & Crafts.

 

Fourth Grade:  Legos, Board/Card Games, Harry Potter

 

Fifth Grade:  Candy, Sports items, Board/Card Games

 

Sixth Grade:  Candy, Gift Cards, Hawkeye Items

 

We are also in need of baskets, ribbon, tissue paper,

and rolls of clear plastic wrap.

 

(2)  Donate a Family or Neighborhood Basket.

Be creative, and remember that no item is too small (we can group things).  If your family or neighborhood donates a basket or item please be sure to include the approximate total value, list of contents, and donor name. Some of the most popular items in the past were items donated by families or neighborhoods.

 

(3) Monetary Donations.       

If you are still unsure of what to donate, monetary donations are also appreciated.  Money received will go into the “Wickham Shopping Fund” and will be used to purchase items that will be placed in the auction.  Please turn in all check and cash donations in an envelope labeled “silent auction,” checks should be made out to Wickham PTO and dropped off in the office.
